I am soon to dump BT as my ISP due to poor service & an abysmally slow connection. I am thinking of going with a local wireless/satellite company but they do not have their own e-mail service.
I've always used an ISP provided email so does anyone have any recommendations as to where I can get a good reliable & secure service?
Thanks

GMX are great. They have loads of features, but are still easy to use.

It might be worth getting a domain name if you want an email address you can keep "forever". Then, you can switch away from GMX and use another company, but keep the same email address. I think I pay about £3 a year for mine.0 -
I'll second GMX...I also have Gmail..Both or either will serve you well.Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

GMX again here. I used to recommend Outlook.com, but I can't anymore, as since it went preview version, it's been buggy.0

Thanks all.
I wasn't really looking to change email provider but I'm with an ISP who doesn't do secure email and that's what I'd really like.
I just might give GMX a go. Thanks for the heads-up on them.Warning: In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.

Cheers Guys. Looks like you've made it an easy choice.0

I would always choose an email provider which is separate from your ISP. That way if you change internet service you keep your email address.
For a few pounds a year it might be worth thinking about getting your own domain name especially if you want to use email professionally. I use @my_surname.com as my main address and have a gmail account as a backup. I may have an ISP email account but I have never logged into it and don't even know what the address is.0 -
