It's nearly a year and we are not "facebook official"
It doesn't actually bother me, he keeps his favebook private anyway and tbh I know we're ina relationship, our friends and family know we're in a relationship so do I really need to make it "facebook official"?This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Being in a relationship on FB doesn't make it any more real OP
Who cares if a load of people you hardly speak to know you're with someone
Just an example someone I know from school changes hers from "in a relationship" to "single" every time he does something to upset her and they "break up" (she's 31 this year !!!!!!) people use to comment to see if she was ok now we all just ignore it
My friends daughter is "Facebook married" to a new BFF every few days
It's only been 3 months OP just chill out and enjoy these early days learning about the new person in your life not worrying about FBFirst Date 08/11/2008, Moved In Together 01/06/2009, Engaged 01/01/10, Wedding Day 27/04/2013, Baby Moshie due 29/06/2019 :T0 -
I think you've opened a can of worms and this will all end in tears. She could interpret your FB change without prior consultation as being needy or insecure, this will change how she sees you and you'll start to drift apart as she looks for a more secure mate. Or she will ignore it and you'll both never speak of it, it will slowly drive you insane and you'll start locking her in under the stairs.
Or someone else will see your post, become enraged because he is also in a relationship with her, also thought it was serious, and goes on a killing spree in a local shopping center. You missus will be traumatized from the event but will appreciate his gesture so will chose him and she'll visit him weekly in jail, perhaps bringing a cake with file. He'll escape, blame you, hunt you down and keep you locked in under the stairs.
Or it could be just Facebook.
To be safe I'd delete your account, change your name and die your hair. Oh, and buy a bungalow.0 -
I don't have a status at all on Facebook.0

It's only a matter of time before signing the register at your wedding also involves whipping your phone out and changing your Facebook status.0

Instead of "you may now kiss the Bride" it'll be "you can now change your facebook status" :rotfl:First Date 08/11/2008, Moved In Together 01/06/2009, Engaged 01/01/10, Wedding Day 27/04/2013, Baby Moshie due 29/06/2019 :T0 -

I think it already includes the bride changing her last name on Facebook, judging by the speed most of the women I know seem to do it.0
