A week I think? Actually was probably less than that.0

I met my future mother in law the second time I saw my husband to be. It was Christmas Eve and I was as drunk as a skunk. Other half invited me to his mother's birthday party which was being held overseas and she was too polite, and shocked, to say no. Probably not the greatest start to a relationship!
We've been together 15 years with our tenth wedding anniversary coming up - and yes, I did go to the birthday party. And yes, the mother in law is happy to have me as part of the family.0 -

On the third date. So within 2 weeks.
Dating 3 months and not having seen the in-laws seems a bit long.
Unless they live 100 miles away.0 -
A few weeks, I think.0

ummmm, we were friends before we got together and i think met each other's mother before we made it official.
Didn't meet his dad for a couple of months, but we were initially long distance0 -
About 6 weeks or so. We went to GoApe with his sister and bro in law and while I was manoeuvring a rope bridge they appeared underneath! His dad then proceeded to throw a cup of coffee over himself afterwards which broke the ice nicely! We now live next door to them!0

However the one time I met his dad before he died we got on grand and I was holding MILs hand when she died0 -
About 3 months. However we were initially long distance and her parents lived even further away. Still dont see them that often (they live 150 miles away and require a ferry trip) but get on with them great when I do.0
