Are you suggesting that it would be simple for the sister to be allocated an HA flat in London?
    No she won't be.
Because she does not have any mental health problems and does not have any children. So she would not be what the Council would consider vulnerable.

She would have to find accommodation on her own such as a rented flat or bedsit with a private landlord. Or stay with my other sister.
She and my other sister are very close.

I understood the OP has a housing association rental. Of which there are more than one.
No. I don't have more than one HA flat.
    I have one home only.
I am on benefits and live in a HA flat and I am a tenant of the HA.
Which is a 1 bedroom flat that the Council put me in.

All this only 6-7 weeks after the death of your mother. You should be ashamed of yourself.

    That's harsh.

The mother died in November, that's 3 months ago.

My brother was living with our dad when Dad died. He put the house on the market shortly after Dad's funeral and the estate was all finalised 5 months later.

No, simply that she doesn't have to "... buy herself a home of her own, furnish it from top to bottom ..."

Actually, I didn't post that but she'll certainly have to furnish any new home she moves to.

As I said, not much of a reward for having cared for your mother for some time and yet you don't seem to be bothered about that aspect. I'm glad she has at least one family member to support her.

I'm sure the mother's house is full of furniture.

Which forms part of the estate and will need to be sold so the proceeds can be divided 3 ways. I can't really see the OP letting her sister have it for nothing.

Sorry, I just meant that more than one exists, so if your sister was in the same boat it could be her option too.

    Actually, I didn't post that ...
I know, but you did comment on my reply to the person who did. And I replied.

Going by earlier posts the OP has been pushing for an immediate sale since well before Christmas which would've been less than 6/7 weeks after the death.
