Feeling cheated buying a new house

Yeah, I think the thing is to try to find the good in it, accept the things you can't change, alter (or make plans to alter) those you can. Sorry that you feel so gutted right now, but you are the only person who can change that. And I am sure you are not the only person who has been rushed by a skilled salesperson into getting somewhere that doesn't feel right - as has been said, it is these people's job to get a sale through before you can spot the flaws!0

As others have said, there isn't much you can do about buying a house you regret now.
What you can concentrate on is getting the house as you want it. If needs be, you can get the paint job done as you want it, the colour you want it to be.
Keep at getting the extractor hood installed and the kitchen sink/cupboard repaired/replaced as appropriate. Have you tried contacting the CEO of the company? Talk to other people on the estate, see if anyone else has had more success getting things done and how they did it.0
