DLA/PIP and change of address

DLA to PIP reassessments aren't due to start for indefinite awards until December 2016 (in NI). I've moved into my own house and I'm worried they'll use it as an excuse to reassess me sooner. None of my medical circumstances have changed. Should I tell them or not? My letters are sent to my parents house, so it's not like I won't receive them.

It's a change in circumstances and must be reported. You should know that you must report it any change not just medical. If you don't it will come back to haunt you.
Speaking from a personal opinion and not related to your individual circumstance, I would not have moved as you have only a few months left on DLA.
.Master Apothecary Faranell replied, “I assure you, overseer, the Royal Apothecary Society dearly wishes to make up for the tragic misguidance which ended so many lives. We will cause you no trouble. We seek only to continue our research in peace".0 -
It's okay to inform them of the change of address. It's made no difference to my award, Only the change in health that affect award.0

If medically nothing has changed then you need tell them nothing, other than you have moved address.0

The change is that you have moved.. If nothing else has change then that's all you need report0

I sent them an email with my new address. Let's hope it doesn't trigger a reassessment.0

I don't think you nor I can.
Not trying to scare you but ANYTHING can trigger a re-assessment. Be it a change in circumstance, a change of address, a change of other benefits it depends on how long you've gone without an assessment, or perhaps your in an area that is now to be lettered for PIP invites.
all in all no one can 100% say with certainty that it wont trigger one.0 -
I found this:
"People reporting changes of circumstances which would affect their rate
of payment (this does not include payability decisions as a result of going
into a care home, hospital or prison or other changes of circumstances
e.g. change of address)."

It's talking about people being reassessed from DLA to PIP but I assume the same applies to re-assessments in general.0 -

I can assure you if the OP has moved to an area currently being sent letters for DLA-PIP claim invitation a change of address would certainly be followed by the letter of invitation.0 -
They aren't starting PIP transfers until June. Do you have any proof they'd do this?0
