Power Bank / Power Bars
Hi guys,
I am not sure if this is the correct place to post this but I was wondering if anyone knew of any "decent" power bank or power bars?
I returned my EE one and got a £20 voucher so I purchased a Kit Power Bank and my gosh, is it useless or what? I charged it for over 5 hours today and it emptied within 10 minutes of charging my mobile. The battery went from 24% to 38% and then it ran out of charge. Eeeeek!
Anyone know of any decent ones that actually work properly?
Many thanks.

Anker, top quality, loads of different options on Amazon.
Look for the mAh rating for the amount of charge it holds. As a comparitor, the Samsung S6 battery is 2550 mAh capacity.0 -
Lots of options and differing opinions to be had.
IMO Anker as above0 -
Beware fake ones though, lots will claim 20,000mAh but in reality they are usually much less.

Indeed, and they're never 100% efficient, and quote the mAh at 3.6v rather than 5v, so the number of times they can recharge a device is a lot less than you might think (explained better in review link below)
I bought one of these late last year for the princely sum of £7.50 from Banggood.
It's brilliant and charges my Samsung S4 mini between 3 and 4 times before running out of juice.0 -
Any recommendations around the £20 -£40 price range.
I need one with a 2 fast charging outlets and a display which shows how much battery is remaining. More capacity the better.

I bought this one

I dout if you will find many with 2 outlet ports
this can charge my galaxy s6 several times , and at present I use it connected to a tom tom on my motorbike.
I did buy one from aldi for about £4.50 but it was rubbish
the unit has a display , and 2 ports , however you plug the supplied lead into the smaller port to charge it , and the larger port to supply power
"IF" you are willing to go to £40 , then think BIG , as in car starters like this http://www.amazon.co.uk/DBPOWER-12000mAh-Portable-External-Smartphone/dp/B00YDZR40W/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1455623504&sr=1-2&keywords=car+starters
not only will that charge your phone/tablet , but it will start a car!Save a Rachael

I've been dishing these ones out free with my company logo on for a few months and the feed back has been good. My customers seem really rate them. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Xoopar-Black-Squid-Charging-4000mAh/dp/B00V7C8H2I0

I use these when I travel for a week - charges multiple times and I plug it on on the plane seat when longhaul to recharge.
