Tough luck, hope it gets sortedA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Another day and still no news. I called the solicitor and they are shut today!!! grrr, she didn't mention that on thursday when I said talk to you on tuesday.
I text my buyer, even though the solicitor has told me not to talk to them, but they still don't have a mortgage.
I cancelled tomorrow's move to storage, I got away without paying anything as I didn't fill the form in on thursday in time, I feel a bit bad about that, and will just have to hope if I do move they still let me rebook.
Will just have to see what happens the this week I guess, as to if I go back to work early next week or not.MFW OP's 2017 #101 £829.32/£5000

Today is the longest day in the world. Everything has come together in the end, and I'm just waiting to complete on the sale of my house before the stamp duty change kicks in.
I just went down to sign a licence agreement so I can stay here till the 15th. If we complete today I can exchange on my new place tomorrow hopefully and will be able to breath again.
I'll need to get my holiday extended as it isn't going to match up now, but I don't think that will be a problem.
So just thinking happy completion thoughts today, and keeping everything crossed.MFW OP's 2017 #101 £829.32/£5000

I've checked my internet banking today and my mortage is in credit by £4k ish for the early repayment charge. The payment has gone out today as well as it was too late to stop that. It is just a shame the mortgage won't stay in credit like that for too long.
Haven't exchanged today as the solicitor was too busy so fingers crossed for monday.MFW OP's 2017 #101 £829.32/£5000

I have moved in YAY. Boxes everywhere, up all night as a smoke alarm battery decided to run out, but it was too high to reach to change it. So 12 hours of it beeping every 30 seconds till I could find someone with long enough ladders to help change it.
This place is economy 10 as it is eletric only, which I need to get my head around pretty quickly, as the expensive rate is really expensive. The people who lived here before were paying £152 a month which is crazy.
Weekend of unpacking ahead, and sorting moving over everything I hadn't got round too yet.
Once I get my early repayment charge money back I should be able to work out all the new sums on how I can pay this place off. I should know how much the bills should be better by then as well.MFW OP's 2017 #101 £829.32/£5000
