iPhone 5 or 5s?
Hi,
Need some advice;
I'm planning to buy iPhone for my mum for Mother's Day....she's not a very techie person so basically needs for what's app,viber,messenger to keep in touch with her grandchildren.
I want to know is there a massive difference between iPhone 5 & 5s?
How much is the difference in price?What is the average price for a sim free phone?
I"ll really appreciate your advice.
Regards.

If you can afford it, buy the 5s, the 5 is going to become unsupported soon when Apple go 64bit only. The 5s is a much better phone overall.====0

I think it's more of a need as all her children are abroad n with all these apps she can communicate free ....plus her current phone is playing up....so I guess ,she would appreciate it though she wouldn't want me to spend too much!0 -

but why tie her down with an iPhone that will be crucified and made useless after system updates .
go androidSave a Rachael
buy a share in crapita0 -
5s is also 4g capable whereas the 5 was 3g only. The 5 also had massive battery drain issues. Definitely go with the 5s.0

go android
It's only because I think iPhone is more easy to use as she won't be using too many apps other than social networking ones0 -

Yeah, my mum struggled with android phones and tablets but over the last couple of years we've bought her an iPad and an iPhone 5s and she seems to have got the hang of these much better because they are fairly crash proof.0
