Considering a two-three night stay in London early July. Will be going by NE, obviously terminates in Victoria station.
Will be visiting tourist attractions, shops and perhaps, a West End show. Travelling on the underground
Thanks in advance

Might depend on your price range. And what facilities you want. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Join Groupon. There are one or two London short breaks on there theremake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

The best hotel, or the best value hotel - and what is your budget?loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.0

You might want to look at Airbnb. You will be able to stay more centrally in better accommodation for a lot less than a hotel. There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.0

But how on earth can you prove the ad isn't a fake one as there was a Watchdog report into it?
Budget is £100 per night. Not bothered if the place doesn't do breakfast as there are loads of places for brekkie. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

That's quite a tight budget for central London in peak holiday season, especially if you'r looking for weekend dates, but doable.
Try the budget hotel chains such as Travelodge and Premier Inn (we like the Covent Garden Travelodge), or consider University accomodation that is let out during the summer vacation - for example, LSE

You might actually do very well and come in under budget for a weekend stay if you monitor "Club Quarters" hotels. These are business hotels for which, if you stay during the week, you must have a company membership and use 150 room nights per year. However, sometimes at the weekends, there are rooms available as low as £89 per night to the public. There are several Club Quarters locations in London, if you google it, you will see them.
I m told by my colleagues that these hotels are extremely comfortable and nice. However, they recommend eating elsewhere, not because the food isn't good but because it's rather expensive.“And all shall be well. And all shall be well. And all manner of things shall be exceeding well.”

I'm just now about to leave a hotel in London to return home after a nice weekend in London.
I stayed in Kensington on Cromwell Road near to Gloucester Road station 3 minute walk from hotel door to Underground entrance for £80/night including breakfast. Trains run very frequently on the Circle and District lines and also on the Piccadilly line.
I think the hotel was quite good. It's got secondary double glazing which cuts out a lot of the road noise.
It's occasionally a secret hotel on lastminute.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.
