I have cards with most of the leading offer banks Virgin, halifax, Tesco, MBNA etc
I recently managed to get a Tesco BT after cancelling my other with no 6 month wait after hearing that Tesco allow you to have 2 card accounts.
Is it possible to get and acquire 2 card accounts with Virgin and Halifax? (I already have 2 cards with them due to expire and wish to take advantage of their latest top offers)

Certain lenders will give you a second credit card however you cannot re-use a BT offer on one of there existing cards for example.
I dont think Virgin grant a second card but Lloyds Bank do so Halifax might aswell.Ex Bank Manager. Emergency Fund: £400/£20000 -
Re Halifax...
Go to their website
Click the 'credit cards' tab
Scroll down to the 'help and information' section at the bottom of the page and click 'existing credit card customers'
Scroll down just a little to 'Already have a Halifax Credit Card?', and there's your answer.
Come back and let us know what you find on the Virgin website.0 -

Virgin allow you to hold 2 cards and so do Halifax. Source: Twitter.I'm a Board Guide on the Credit Cards, Loans, Credit Files & Ratings boards. I can concur that you can have 2 Halifax CC's. Source: My wallet.0 -
with some providers, yes.
MBNA: yes to a second.
Barclaycard: if you only have one now, you can't get a second.0 -
I've had the following multiple cards at one point:
MBNA = 5, will still allow multiples;
Amex = 3, will still allow multiple (2x credit, 2x charge, from my readings online);
NatWest = 2, no idea if they still allow;
Barclaycard = 4, specifically don't allow more than 1 now, but this may change as they've had a similar policy in the past;
Tesco = 2, definitely still do, although you'd only want another for the sign up bonus/intro offer, as they all appear to be exactly the same afterwards.0 -
