Thanks for your kind words Becks. I'm feeling pretty low (and tired!) today, so I won't hang around here and depress everyone with my moaning. It's a combination and a culmination of various things over the past few years, with a big dose of anxiety added to the pile!
Sunshine hasn't arrived here I'm afraid ThreeWishes! You'll all need to try harder in blowing it over here!
Hope you all have a lucky weekend x0 -

You are not depressing any of us April :A - we are here for
each other - so sorry to hear that it's from a combination and a
culmination of various things over the past few years plus
anxiety added to the pile. Please feel free to pop in whenever
you can - one of us is always here to offer words of wisdom
or just to be a kind listening ear. :kisses3:
Funnily enough, having said we had glorious sunshine - we
have now had a brief hailstorm!  'Tis really strange
weather of late!
Now it's lovely and bright again! :wall: :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hi AprilLady, you certainly are not depressing anyone, people on this forum seem really nice so I can't imagine for a moment they would want you to not post
I've just gone through a fair bit of misery this last five years and know how helpful it can be even just saying you feel miserable so please don't feel you can't say.
Now I'm back comping again (first time online) even the sleepless nights are making themselves useful :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Hope you feel better soon but please talk if you would like to0 -
Ps Alfie, I'm quite envious, it's still snowing here and it's starting to build up ..... Not quite enough for a snowman yet though :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0

Hope you have some sunshine now AprilLady and are feeling a bit brighter... still snowing here (near Leek in the Staffordshire Moorlands) so hoping it will stop soon and the sunshine comes back.

Hi everyone, late in today with one thing and another. Very cold and wet here. DD2 in Yorkshire is at home today as GD's school is closed due to the snow.
April, pleasse pop in and have a moan or whatever we are all understanding of oneanother here and you will soon get used to us. I find it really benefits and cheers me up poping in especially when I feel depressed, everyone is great. Hang in there and take on day at a time.
Sounds like you are really pleased with your new shoes firefly, they look lovely. I went to Brantano yesterday as they are closing down close to us and got a lovely pair of Clarks shoes reduced to £24 so am well pleased with them.
You had better get packing soon Sheils otherwise DH will be off without you LOL.
Pleased that you like poping in the in as well Threewishes, lovely to hear from you.
Hope you are OK leanfun, Rose, Wingo and anyone else flying past.
We are beginning to panic a bit as at the moment we are still No.1 on the list for a flat down by DD2 & family. Peeps have until Sunday night to pip me to the post so fingers crossed we will get it.
Hope we don't get too much snow as we are going down to Birmingham for the Crufts final day, part of my Christmas present from DD2, she has also paid for the Terrier finals show too so am really excited. We have booked into a hotel for Sat & Sun so should be a nice break. Its just DD2, GD, DD1 & myself going so a nice girly weekend for us.
Have a lovely day everyone.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -

Sylvia that sounds such a great weekend for you. Great Christmas present.
Do hope your flat comes through. Hope the snow holds off for you.
April it was very sunny here today mind with a bit of wind. I've been out and on train was wishing it improves for you. By now you'll be at work.
We all feel a bit low at times. When I come on here the pics often make me smile and I go off a bit happier. When I was very young I was very low and know what it's like to work through it.
Well thanks to MSE I have been out again. DH woke up with a very painful back yesterday. He could hardly walk but is much better today. However he was not up for going out. So I decided as it was so sunny I would go by myself up to Soho again. This time to an Italian event. http://www.sacla.co.uk/
It was at the old Vinyl Factory. I went at lunch time so there were no chefs demonstrations going on but some interviews with chefs and free dinks and food! I really enjoyed it and leaving was given a very heavy bag with a lot of goodies, a drink, pesto samples, a jar of artichokes and a cookery book.
Bus from Charing Cross was diverted so a lot of walking but in the sun was good, pleased DH did not come.
Back home DH said the Goodread book I'd been waiting for had come but when I opened it there was a children's book from here
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5406153
Legs aching now. I must go out walking more.
Hope snow clears for those who have it. Pics online this morning looked as though some places had a lot of it. Hope you have a good journey Sylvia.
Good luck everyone this weekend.0 -
Been some busy people today especially you leanfun - sounds a great day. Well done on another book win.
April hope things get better soon. Everyone is allowed to moan in here in fact it is nearly compulsory!
Just had a lovely white jug filled with spring flowers delivered from Moon Pig but the card is missing - grrrr. Feel such an idiot asking boys who sent it. At least they came early as going away on Tuesday afternoon and won't get full benefit of them.
Will keep my fingers crossed for you Sylvia. Maybe be meeting you in Halifax this year! Hope your trip to Crufts goes well. Lovely present.
Sun is shining here now but been pretty cold.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media
