Some great pics today everyone, thanks. No snow here yet and it looks more like rain to me but we will see.
Have a good trip Sheils, enjoy your walk. Hope you manage to get some comps done before your big trip in March. It would be nice to come back to a win.
Thanks firefly, still trying to sort out downsizing, its hard knowing what will fit and what won't. Not quite sure how to tackle amending all the comp accounts so nothing goes to wrong address when we move. Royal Mail has a good re-direction service but we find a lot of stuff comes via carrier these days!
You go for it Alfie - garden should win every timeWe spend enough time indoors when the weather is bad. Enjoy.
LOL at you walking your washing in Indie but I love it when the frost gets to the washing.
I expect you are busy with GK's today leanfun? Big hugs if you need it.
Have a lovely day everyone, whatever you are doing and hi to everyone who passes by the Inn today, why not say hello? We would love to hear from you.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
glad you didn't get the snow sylv,
know what you mean by hard to figure out when downsizing,
we gave loads of stuff away & had to get rid of loads it's
surprising how much we collect over the years!
I remember us sorting redirect with RM & left new address
& tele: number with neighbours who where very good &
let us know if a parcel came after we'd left,
we also left new address in the property so new people
could contact us if needed,
lots of good luck with it all x
love the pic & got to agree with it  :jplease be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
Have had a lovely day. We have had glorious sunshine and walked from Portobello beach to Musselburgh beach and back so fairly tired out now.
We had our picnic down at the beach - first picnic outside this year. Hopefully get loads more.
Had a message that have won a Crime book so DH will be pleased.
Might put it away for his birthday as a little surprise.
Hotel seems nice and bedroom really nice. Looking forward to dinner - get a £22 each allowance which is OK considering we only paid a total of £69 for DB&B.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Well done on the book win Sheils. Glad you managed a good walk and hope you enjoy your evening meal.
Thanks firefly, that is good of you to share the way you handled things when you moved. Thought about asking neighbor to take in parcels so will do that but never thought of leaving a contact number in the house when we leave. There seems so much to think about.
Hope everyone has had a good day. The snow never materialized after all thank goodness.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
it can be very stressful sylv, was for me anyway
think the most tiring part was going through loads of all the
comp sites to change details & then I still found
some i'd missed out after:eek:
hope you had a lovely dinner sheils,

I hope you're well - happy Leap Year Day to all!
Sounds like you had a wonderful day yesterday sheils -
bet the meal was delicious!
Hope you get everything sorted out for your move
sylv - there's so much to do but you will get
there in the end. :A
It was a beautiful weather day here yesterday but a
tad chilly in the wind! Brrrrr! Had to pop back indoors
now and again for a hot cuppa to warm the bones!
Today it's looking better for gardening - sunny for most
of the day and no chilly wind (thank goodness!).
Seems we will be getting wet stuff here tomorrow so
got to make the most of today.
Have a lovely and lucky day, love to all - will catch up
later. Take care.

Good Morning,
Just had a big breakfast and planning what to do now. Think we will have a look around Portobello and then walk along the coast towards Leith for a bit. Cloudy here today but can't complain after the glorious sunshine yesterday. Sounds like it will be raining when we get home so had better make the most of it here. Might stop at Table Table as we have a voucher for 2 fish and chip meals. Will see what time we are passing it.
Enjoy the garden Alfie. DH is hoping to get our grass cut before we go to Tenerife.
Hope everyone has a lucky day.
