my grandma lived there for years & we visited it when we
went to Edinburgh on hols a few years after my dad
had passed away, lovely place,
got loads of old pics of grandma & dad on beach
when he was a kiddie

I have only visited Portobello once FF and never stayed there. Hoping to visit Musselburgh too as been on our "to visit" list for a while.

we didn't get to Musselburgh but did do Leith & Newhaven,
lovely places & the people so welcoming & helpful,
would love to go back up that way again some day :j

ff sis lives in Leith. If you are going through Edinburgh Just turn your engine off and car will take you through and run down the hill then you are in Leith

shiels when you go you portobello stick your toes in the sand for me. It is actually only an hour fro me.
