Rose - nice of your neighbour with the cake - we have one of the girls at work who is a brilliant baker and makes fab cakes and brings them in now and again but one slice is never enough:rotfl:

We usually have a Chinese on a Friday night but they have been closed for the last 2 weeks because of new year - hope they are open this week they are sooooo inconsiderate!! lol will soon find out when hubby rings them later when he gets home.

DH is off out to buy fish and chips for us tonight. That's if they are open. Last time he went there there had been an incident outside and there were police etc there.

Hi everyone,

The Chinese was closed again:mad: We had fish and chips anyway they were lovely!

Its still raining and windy here but according to local paper we are having a heatwave here this weekend hotter than Mexico? don't know where they got that from!! I'll let you know.....

I've had no wins but not entered anything really, except TAB and Puzzler as I am subscribed to the thread but I missed so many they were out of date before I got to them

Our Fish and chips were lovely too. Local fish and chips are horrible but DH drives to another shop. They were open and busy so we didn't find out what happened last time.

Oh! It seems you are all having fish and chips. We had sweet chilly chicken noodles when we were at shopping centre so had a sandwich for tea. It was driving rain when we were walking up the hill to the car park where DD had left her car by her work. Hadn't realised she intended to take a short cut and expected me to get under a yellow barrier at the back of the car park! Well I did bend and try but no way was I able to get under or over it. DD and GD were laughing their socks off. Any way there was a wall which they assured me I could get my leg over ha ha. GD got hold of my leg to lift it up and DD shoved and eventually got me over LOL. If there were any cctv cameras someone would have been having a good laugh.

No wins for us today.

DD just given me a glass of port.
