Well done on the win leanfun. Suns out here which i'm glad as going to watch one of my nephews play football this morning. Don't usually get the chance as i normally work on a saturday.Hope everyone has a good day..

It's a beautiful day here, sunny and gorgeous! Didn't
manage to get out gardening yesterday what with
one thing and another so today I'm raring to go! Just

to get to Loch Leven castle - sounds great fun crossing the
loch by boat. I had a peek at the historic-scotland.gov.uk
site about the castle and history - it looks and sounds
wonderful. Well worth visiting while you're there.

Been visiting my aunt today as she will be missing my parents and haven't had the chance to go before today. Will have to get our walk now and then the dreaded ironing!

Good Morning,


Waken early today. It will be strange just having one night away but Kinross only 2hrs 40mins away if we go cross country which is a nice change from the motorway. Thinking of calling in at Bo'ness and Blackness on the way - steam railway and castle at them. Also a little beach at Blackness, was raining last time we went so didn't see it properly. If we run out of time we will do Loch Leven tomorrow.
It is fun going across to Loch Leven Castle Alfie, we have done it before. We never thought one day DS2 would be living along the road from it. It is free for us too as English Heritage members which lets us into Historic Scotland places.
Looking forward to testing out DS3's menus tonight.
