    Good Morning,

    Hope everyone is well today.
The rain has stopped here but supposed to start again about 11am (sigh) At least the forecast for our break isn't showing any rain.
DS3 has promised to cook tonight so that will be nice as I run out of ideas sometimes.
Anyway must get some comps done.
    Good Luck everyone.

Morning, it's dry here but foggy at the moment. I'm just going to do some washing, then off out later for a food shop. Hope everyone has a lucky day..

Tired this morning but we had a great evening. Forecast rain didn't materialise. There were big crowds in Leicester Square. We saw Hugh Grant being interviewed. Then went and joined a queue so missed Meryl Streep.
Yes we walked the red carpet! Sadly I only found my camera just before we went and not much battery. Typical.
We had brilliant seats in row H in the stalls. Celebs were in the circle.
The Sponsers, producer, directors and three main actors came on stage and spoke at beginning. They had three main charities, Alfie Help the Heroes got a very big clap.
The film has a simple true story but Meryl Streep was brilliant and DH said it was the best we had seen Hugh Grant. The third main actor Simon Helberg was also excellent. It was very funny and thought provoking.
    A great experience.

Lo Sheils about keeping quiet about win. Last year I bought some nice blouses for myself in HMV.

April you brought back memories. When our children were young we drove up to Scotland. When we arrived in Edinburgh it was pouring

Very tired now and we are picking GS up from school today.

Glad you had a good evening leanfun! :) I think I've only ever seen Simon Helberg in The Big Bang Theory, so can't really imagine him being anyone but Howard!

Hehee, do you mean H&M rather than HMV? Or did you get some great band t-shirts, haha!

Oh no, I hope that's not the strongest memory you have of Edinburgh! The sun does shine here sometimes! (not today though...)

Yes, April H&M. Can hardly keep eyes open here.

We didn't watch The Big Bang Theory.

Managed to leave out second bit about Edinburgh. We stayed outside of city and next day when we went in it was brilliant sunshine. Such a different place in the sun. Every warm and friendly.

Yes, it has been very warm here last few days.

Ahh, glad you saw it in the sunshine - it is very pretty when there are blue skies! Pfft, not fair that you've had lovely warmth! Winter coat and gloves yesterday - I suspect more of the same today, although I haven't been out yet!

Sounds like you had lovely time leanfun. Sometimes I think it would be nice to live in a city and go to the theatre etc but after living all my life in a small town where I know so many people, don't think i would like it. We do like getting away places though (bet you hadn't noticed!)
Edinburgh seemingly gets less rain than most places. Saw that somewhere when we were visiting it.

So jealous of all of you with beautiful weather! It's been bucketing down here all day and I got soaked on my way to and from work! Had to drape myself over the radiator at work to try and dry off! Chilly too!

So pleased you managed to venture out for a while rose -
love your spirit - onwards and upwards. :T :A You are
fairly similar to me. :D Can recall a while back (when I fell
off ladder and injured my pelvis) .... I would still regularly go
off out on my crutches and later used a walking stick to
get provisions in from my local village, with a haversack on
    my back! :p :rotfl::rotfl:

I know in that case it was my fault :p but since then I've
suffered a stroke and stroke related epilepsy yet all is well
with my life once again ..... I believe in feeling positive!
I  my gardening and walking too, both of which have
    been a godsend. :grin: :dance::dance:

As you say, you can always get a taxi to get you back from
    town if needed. :D

I may pop out to wander around the garden in a while and
    see what needs doing.

Have a lovely and lucky day all, take care - I will catch
    up later. :)
