Been quite a nice day here, just the odd shower in the morning.
Got all my banking stuff done and one or two things bought for next trip away. (toothpaste, talc etc) Always keep separate things in toilet bag in case ready for the off! Next week is Chester, Telford and stop over at Leigh on way home. Only paying for Chester as Telford Ramada was paid with won points and Leigh Holiday Inn with earned points so nice cheap break as usual.

We are just back from Pointless and are waiting for a ready meal to cook. We had a great day. We went in the morning, had breakfast near Elstree studios and went for the 2pm recording. It was Radio Celebrities. We only recognised Nicki Cambell and the lady who is with him on five Live. Apparat from breaks to move things on the stage the programme is very much as you see it. They are really funny. I really hadn't thought about audience participation, which turned out to be quite funny too.

At the end they asked if anyone would stay for 6pm recording. DH was keen so we stayed. That was celebs from Casualty, Holby City, Let Go and Dr Hilary Jones and Dr Raj Sing. That was interesting too and funny but they do dumb down the questions for Celebs.

Coming home there was a direct train so that was good. It rained between recordings but they let us stay in a sheltered place and fine on way home.

Will have to catch up later.
