JUDI , my pooches have cold rice pudding, or natural yoghurt when they have poorly tums, or after ops
Had another bad night's sleep , so put sky movies on, n watched Northern Soul, based in Lancs, n at Wigan Casino.Really enjoyed it, but was cringing at the fashions :rotfl:
Had a lazy day today, but am making butter pie for tea, n doing one for DD n the kids too, as they love it
We've got half term this week, so have lots of crafty stuff, n cheap days out planned.I love seeing more of the Grandkids

camelot and Gers I agree. Glorious weather today. I went for a run. No pelting rain this time.
First though I baked - Butternut Squash Chocolate Brownies. Very enjoyable when I got back. I made sure to leave one or two for DH when he gets back.
LW glad you have a new furfriend. Judi hope your furfriend feels better soon.
I'm off to walk my furry before DH takes me out for dinner. I am SOOOO going to enjoy my Tiramisu after getting a PB on my run.:DGoals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0 -
Pollyanna - 6 beaten eggs and whatever bits you want to put in really. I put them in muffin cases but will try greasing the tins next time as the paper cases seem to have stuck to the eggy mixture. Bake for about 15 mins (or until set) at about 180.
Had a lovely afternoon, took the car to be washed (£4 well spent as I was stuck behind a gritter the other day) and picked my friend up. We went to Balloch for lunch then walked round to Lomond Shores for a wander, coffee and cake.
It's been a lovely sunny but cold day, as I am a sad individual the best thing about the day has been getting the washing dried outside - it smells so fresh.0 -
Thanks for that Camelot . Sounds like you had a lovely time today .
Many memories of where you went today , all of them good .It is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.
There but for fortune go you and I.0 -
Good evening all,
Had a lovely sunny walk with the pooch,DH comes with me on a Sunday, very cold though.I too had a dog related broken night as our next door neighbours little shihtzu barks constantly when they are out & they didnt get in till about 1.45 ,a bit worse for wear so they were a bit noisy and Ly1a was barking too a couple of times.Went down a couple of times and decided to get on the couch with her, she's like a very large hot water bottle :rotfl:Judi hope the little'un gets better soon.
We had a big joint of pork for tea, should be plenty of meat leftover for tomorrow too.I had a few baking apples so made a crumble.
Sorry to hear of the poorly relative nmlc x
Enjoy your evening,I've been reading and we're waiting for Deutschland 83 to come on at 9,might have a G&T shortly x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)0 -
Good Morning chums very chilly at the moment but at least its dry.Off to Canterbury with the family today. DD has lots of Subway vouchers so lunch will be cheap if not almost free:):):)Still no food shopping yet, although I plan for my second food shop of the month this Friday. Then it will only be essentials from my list.Have my Spring holiday in 8 weeks time so making do even more from the freezer and cupboards. As we will be self catering I shall be looking out several tins and jars of stuff to take with me as my friend and I are both easy to feed and will eat almost anything .Basics like coffee and tinned stuff makes life easier and we can spend our holiday stash on treats during the week:):):)
Hope everyone keeps warm and dry
Cheers JackieO xxx0
