Judi I'll do some distance healing for Lucy in a little while. Glad her op went well.

Finally got my PIP letter; they've awarded me standard rate for daily living and enhanced rate for mobility (so my Blue Badge is safe, thanks be to any deity who'd care to take credit) to be reviewed again in 3 years.
They got some stuff wrong imho, but I'm not going to mess about challenging it, as I don't think it will put me up by enough points to make a difference; I'll just be grateful it's over for the next 3 years,

JUDI so pleased Ginge is recovering well.

ELONA I watched the official opening of your new footbridge on Look North. Have you been across it yet? That will save a long detour for you.

So pleased to hear your news LW and to hear your mobility badge is safe at the very least.

Bought 'Ginge' home this evening. She is tired and sore but all has gone well.

I am having the results of her biopsy sent to me not hubby. Whatever the outcome is, i'll take it from there.

  • Hi guys,
Saw my consultant yesterday. What he thought was right. The three secondary tumours are giving out too much cortisone, so he has put me on a suppressant drug, to help. If it stops the Cushings symptoms I will be glad.
I currently have oral thrush, high blood pressure, bruising and other things because of it. Hopefully these drugs will help. :T

I am really tired too at the moment. OH is also still suffering with the pain and fatigue of shingles, so we are a right pair!:A

Judi. Hope Ginge is getting over her op okay.

    Take care all.

Been a busy week here......my neighbour died after heart surgery, which was his only chance of survival, so have been over and back a lot and then to the funeral this morning, will call tomorrow when all the relatives have left....will be a difficult time for his wife, who doesnt drive, between us, as neigh ours we will do what we can, as one son lives in UK and the other about 40 miles away.

Woke up this morning with cystitis.....havent had it in donkeys years, got remedy from chemist, so hopefully it will disappear quickly.

On a happier note, DD2 arrived last night with DGDs 1 and 3 for their half term break.....they have gone for a 'sleepover' to DD4 to spend time with DGS2 and the twins...mayhem I am sure!

Judi....glad that your lovely Lucy is home, hopefully the results will be benign.

LW.....glad that your news is good and that you can relax for 3 years......gentle hug.

Sleep well everybody and stay safe

I just heard this afternoon that the footbridge was opening and will try it out tomorrow morning. It will make taking documents back to the lawyer much quicker and easier. It should also mean I can get the bus to Leeds or York.

LW glad things are working out.

I hope the medication will help with the new symptoms quickly for you.

    Hugs to all
