Hi All
After a quiet 5 am lambing shed I checked lambs on the field at 7 and they were wet, miserable and hungry. No where to put them, so DS fed ewes, made sure everything has a full belly and we now hope for some milder settled weather. It is grim. More have been turned out today, so carol and Mr Fish and Laura had better not let us down or our place will be covered in dead bodies!
Office work dementedly stressful. Keeping up to date. There never seems to be a minute!!!!
A solid NSD here though.0 -
Afternoon all,
Thanks for the start CCL.
Just back from town.
* Having got a free phone upgrade for OH on Sunday today I got one for myself. I've pretty much chosen the same kind of phone which will save me lots of energy getting to grips with the new one. :rotfl:
* Decoded gas/electricity bill.
* Wee dash around the house with a hoover.
* Spent free £11 M&S vouchers on meat.
* Need to think about OH's birthday.
What have you folks got lined up for today?

make_the_change wrote: »Good morning all, been up nice and early as went to bed at 9.45pm last night so had a good sleep. Saw lady from downstairs who gave me evils as she passed me and then tried more intimidation standing outside our block talking to another mummy. Just breath, log and ignore. Ordered a rug for hallway and for kids bedroom to help soak up some of the noise so have that in my favour although could of done without the extra spend

- parent review at DDs nursery DONE - she is doing fab!!
- check bank DONE - another tight week but working to a strict budget!
- entertain DD and DS2 for free DONE
- make a shopping list and dinner plan
- list another item on eBay DONE TWO MORE LISTINGS
- early school run to collect DS1 as half day DONE
- dinner from stores and get DS1 ready for football
- parents evening with DS1
One of my rugs arrived, this one for the kids bedroom and it's gorgeous, fluffy and thick so should help with the 'noise' level!!!!! Just waiting on the runner for the hallway and hopefully mr and Mrs grumpy downstairs can stop (or reduce) their moaning. Alright when they are shouting in the hallway and slamming their front door  I had a reply back from environmental services and they said they normally deal with complaints made against people so my email is unusual. However, noise from children is usual and expected and I shouldn't have to keep telling them to tiptoe around during the day. So I feel relieved I have already shown the initiative and have some hard evidence on my side. My aim is to just try and prevent the children from playing up at bedtime and sometimes it is hard and difficult but at least I am trying. I have a very fiery 3 year old DD who is becoming a nightmare with bedtime
DS1 has gone to football so will be meeting him later for parents evening. DDs review was fab, funny how she is a completely different child in nursery :rotfl:DMP Started June 20160 -

Whoop for your good news Twiggy :-)
Today for me has been a little quiet:
Worked in the office so took breakfast and lunch in as well as a tub of coffee to resist the canteen.
Took gf's mum to the dealership for her MOT and took her back after work- scored a free latte and those delicious lotus biscuits- enjoyed those in the traffic after work!
Have packed some boxes for the mid March flat move, organised a box of CDs, one of DVDs and one of books ready for car boot sale at month end, sniffles the more expensive ones out (checked in music magpie) to try them on eBay!
Oh and sorted my wardrobe out- one pair of shoes for eBay and a box of clothes to rifle through for the bay or car boot! Will have a rummage over the weekend and get listing away.
Last night I managed to make a spinner ring in my silversmith class and two people at work asked about ordering from me...said no for the moment as I have a lot of silver to use, but critically not the stuff I'd use for the rings, so I shall make from what I have rather than buying more silver!
(So so hard not to give into temptation!)
Now just perusing the forum and getting some ideas!First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).
New forever home- Sep’21 £309,449 @ 2.05%. Plan to clear it before 30 years!!!!!!0
