Alerternatives to calling abroad

Now that o2 doesn't let us do it, what are the options?

I know of one:

1) Virgin Mobile, calls to 07744 numbers are still free

any others?

    Are there any numbers you can use to call India Landline or Mobile using inclusive minutes on Vodaphone?

    Try using one of those old fashioned landlines

    Yeah, so true.

    People seem to be so happy spending stupid amounts each month for a mobile, when if they had any sense they'd stop wasting so much money and then use the landline for calls much cheaper.

    "Have have x mins and texts free...." yeah, but at some stupid monthly payment each month!

    OK I confess I'd rather waste my money going abroad, some people are happy to waste their money on rip-off mobile contracts, still I think holidaying is better than mobile calls.
    It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!
    (OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)
