How low will O2 go?
Phone up for upgrade today and chatted to o2 advisor online about new tariff for th S6 Edge I'm after.
CPW has the unlim text and minutes with 1GB for £27.50 which is around the same price as im paying now but with a £140 outlay for the phone. (£800 over 2 years)
O2 started at £37.50 per month plus £10 (£910 over 2 years) I got them down to £34.50 per month and no initial outlay (£828/2yrs)
Is the lowest they will go? I tempted to just stick with them even though they are dearer, as the Refresh option they have is a bit of a carrot on stick....im upgrading on time this year but only because my phone has been smashed up for months now and the camera is broken but I wouldnt always have been so prompt so would only be paying for the tariff after 24 months.
What do you think, could I push for more discount or should i take it and run??

If you saved say 25 over a period of a year you would have enough for a phone and change.
I just think £800 over 2 years is alot for a phone and tariff.0 -

Why on earth do you want to "upgrade" and be locked to O2 for two years? A lot can happen in two years, especially if O2 are sold to Three.
I would buy the phone elsewhere (or better still stick with your your existing one) and go SIM only.0 -
The S6 Edge is a fairly fragile phone given you've smashed your own phone is getting one of those really wise when you can pick up a standard S6 for less money? Personally I'd wait and see just how good the S7 is going to be when it's announced at the end of the month and if it leads to the S6 dropping in price.0
