simegchris wrote: »hi,
I'm new to the site.
can anyone advise on my situation.
Ive recently received a claim form with the defendants being MIL collections claiming that i parked on private property(disused computer shop) back in February last year.
the only correspondence was a letter from a company called zenith collections?
my wife did park there but said there were other cars parking there.
The cost they are claiming for is £175 which is crazy.
Please can you advise which way to go?
Shall i admit in full admit part or defend it?
any advise will be greatly appreciated.
thank you..
Back on track for simegchris, the OP of the thread!
You do not admit part of the claim.
IF they have included a 'PARTICULARS OF CLAIM' now, you defend in full but leave the defence box BLANK for now as the first thing you do is acknowledge it...BUT only if they have included a Particulars of Claim - or have they written 'to follow'?[/I]
Read the NEWBIEs thread paragraphs & links about 'Small Claims'.

As this thread has been wrecked through no fault of yours, you will certainly be forgiven if you start a new thread for advice, once you have put together a bullet point defence, if you want some feedback on it to make sure you don't miss anything. And tell us what it say in the 'Particulars' box?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
