You need a big one of those
There'll be robot dog walkers for sale in the near future... for people who'd like to walk the dog, but really don't want to go out in the rain.
The big thing they used to have in the US was a motorised baby swing. It hangs from a door frame and rocks the baby to sleep. Never seen it here. You could get standalone versions of it as well.
Not sure how much to trust something like that.:cool:There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
Some one mentioned the Nice People thread recently, was that you Ivyleaf? I thought I'd come over and have a look-see.
I used to put one of my babies in the stand alone swing and it put him to sleep almost every time. I used it with three of my children and never had any safety issues. I really loved that swing when I was trying to cook supper and wanted to do so without a baby on my hip.Overprepare, then go with the flow.

We may still have the bits of the baby swing in the shed. None of the kids ever liked it or fell asleep in itI think....0

We were given one of those by some friends, after their kids had finished with it. It worked really well, and it was quite robust. I never felt the DKs were at risk.
It survived our DKs, and we passed it on when we finished with it. It had a clockwork motor and made a tick tock sound. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

Must have been a lovely sight, but an awful lot of work.
You had twins or triplets? No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Decent sized contract looming (made up of a single supply contract for around 30 separate contracts)......the next question is whether UKEF are willing to guarantee it.....sorting out the paperwork this week, so may not be around much until it's done💙💛 💔0

We tried one of those baby rockers with DS2. He puked every time.
Then grew up to be a kid that got travel sick and roller coaster sick and air sick.

... travel sick....
I get that. I'm OK if I'm looking out of the window, but if I were to try to read or text then I'd be faint/sick and passing out before 1 minute had passed. That faint-headedness lasts about 20-30 minutes.
Last time I stupidly tried to text somebody that I was "on bus, will be there in 15 mins" I felt so sick I thought I was going to die and was willing the bus to hurry up so I could get off and "relax". I'll never try to text again in a moving vehicle.
I read somewhere it's to do with being long-sighted.
For many, being sick could be because parents insist their children "do something to occupy themselves" ... such as reading, drawing, playing with a toy, or watching a screen ... not knowing that's what sets them off.0
