Weirdly I do generally see spelling mistakes when I read anything back after I have posted/emailed but I can read things back a hundred times before posting and not spot anything.
I had a sneaky read of a letter sat on the customer service desk at Homebase last week.
It was from a local first school asking for 'plants for the pants stall'.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I still fail to understand why people who couldn't be @rsed to register to vote in a general election suddenly find a burning need to register for this referendum.
Once enfranchised, I wonder what effect these people will have on the next general election.
We can only hope it ignites a bit of a spark and they start to take proper interest. General elections do have a more obvious, or a clearer immediate impact on us personally than this referendum. And that is sad.
I think a lot of people are taking this as some sort of general election or even a revolution from the expectations of some.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Hopefully, that must be the reason, rather than watching X Factor too much. Some sort of half-way house ought to be achievable, though.
Thanks, everyone, for your good wishes.
Congratulations, GDB! As regards the way they hesitated in telling you, it's likely they've been told to stick to a script and not overload you by blurting out the result immediately.Yeh, westie wasn't a happy chappy last night.
Barking at each and every thunderclap followed by 5 minutes growling.
Our dog was not happy with last night's thunder. One. little. bit.

What constitutes working is subjective.
As a self-employed person you're currently scheduling and prioritising.

Yup! Future planning strategy always involves an armchair, a cuppa/biccie and a side order of newspaper/riveting book/crossword. Can't be done otherwise!(I just lurve spiders!)

SingleSue, your signature tells me what your eldest son's diagnosis is, but I can't remember, or never knew, what your other sons have.
Middle son - Aspergers, EDS, bowel disorder, partially deaf, brain injury which causes extremely poor short term memory and emotion control (he was starved of oxygen during delivery), verbal understanding disorder.
Youngest - Complex autism, severe asthma, hypermobile/EDS (diagnosed with hypermobility when he was a toddler, way before James was and before they were classed as the same thing), bowel disorder, gross food intolerances and allergies to nuts, shellfish and rhubarb (yep rhubarb!), Irlens and chronic fatigue (oh and he also has a growth disorder too!)
Bet you wish you hadn't asked now!
James appears in my signature because for years I thought I had managed to get one right, as in a 'normal' child and then my world fell apart again.
It's not apart now but it was a shock at the time...they are all doing really really well despite their challenges (been bloody hard work though!)We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

I'm not voting until later as youngest is able to vote for the first time and hasn't got a clue what to do, what to say (if he will actually be able to that is), how to move etc, so I have to go with him. On top of that, Josh can't remember what he did last time so wants me to go through the whole shebang with him too!We made it!
