    All long-winded though ... as it's furreners :)

Aumoniers came over from France in the late 1600's so all the ones I am looking at where born in London.....around spitalfields . I missed an Ann born 1771 baptised at La Patente.

Thanks a lot for your input....giving me ideas on searching for....

Mary Ann (Aumonier)Woollams married to William(wallpaper fame)Woollams one of there other Sons Thomas 1812-1862 he married also a Mary Ann (Todd)Woollams (dont know her birth and death years as yet) and took themselves off to Australia with there 2 year old son Frederick James Woolllams1870-1935(This would have been Husbands Grandfather he never met because he was born 1945!)there 2nd child Clara Louisa born NSW Australia 1876 but died in HACKNEY London by 1879 so it might be just the Wife and children that came back because Frederick b1849 seem to go missing....

    so it goes on......BW Dianne

1876 the year Clara Louisa was born in NSW her father Frederick b1849 was being looked for by his brother Thomas George b1842-1880 who now lived in New Zealand Coromandel because Uncle Henry had died and there was something to there advantage stated by a Caverdish Sq London Probate Solicitor Uncle Henry was a son of William Woollams Wallpaper fame and brother of Frederick Woollams 1824-1897 who set up Coromandel with the successful gold mining venture..Frederick it seems was not traced.

Frederick b1849 was born the same year his Mother died b1819-1849 and his father Thomas Son of Wm Woollams wallpaper fame died aged 50 in 1862. He would have had to bring up his 3 sons and 1 daughter as they would have been baby, 3 years old, 5 years old and 7 years old at the time of there Mothers death. The three sons Frederick b1849 went to Australia in 1872 and the two brothers Thomas George b1842-1880 and Henry Edward b1844--1920 went to Coromandel NZ not sure of the date they went....but Thomas George got married had 3 or 4 sons and 1 Daughter but died by 1880 at 38 years old leaving his wife Mary (Hinnis) Woollams who was pregnant with John b1880...although they received something in Uncle Henrys Wil Mary (Hinnis)Woollams wrote to England to Aunt Jane Inman to tell of her plight and received generous funds to help......I wondered why Frederick of Gold Mines Coromandel fame did not help....
William Woollams and Mary Ann(Aumonier) Woollams had 12 children 5 died young or very young..out of 7 left only 3 lived to over 60 and as children they where comfortably off I do believe so maybe that did not make that much difference at that time in London. BW Dianne

I was thinking last night, it's no wonder everywhere's overcrowded... I was reading about John Wesley - he was the 15th child of his parents and he married a woman who was her parents' 25th child!

Hardest tree to draw, EVER. Fact :)...PasturesNew....that made me laugh...was like a script to me worthy of a comedy prog...

We all get mixed up with this tree...too many Fredericks Mary Anns and Williams Henry Johns and so many kids and young deaths so I write it down in different forms and then sometimes it comes together....I don't pay for these ancestry sites so it is not easy getting info for free sometimes and you have to realise some of the dates can be wrong...I have lots of print outs of births marriages deaths certs for husbands family and census ones as well...few pictures as well trying to see if any of the family I know looks like 'them'....been rather a scorcher here today so was good to be inside for the hottest times...always plenty to entertain on the web with hobbies like this...BW Dianne

Longshot ... when was her brother Jean born?
    If it's 1768 I've got the parents.
But I guess you've been there, seen that, dismissed it .... and moved on years ago.

It only works if there's an older brother Pierre too.

EDIT: And I can see you already know about those (elsewhere on t'Internet), so it is a dud that you knew about.

I wonder if she was the daughter of David's widowed sister... maybe she had to work so couldn't look after a baby.

What happens if it's a draw?

After my last attempt at betting on Eurovision, I'm staying clear.

No, you're all right ... but check out David's sister. Find out when/who she married (Mr G) and when he died .... and where they were .... it might be a clue. Or you can at least dismiss it.

    council tax mess. :(

Students are exempt from council tax.

What generally happens is that the students start renting a house and a council tax bill arrives. They know they are exempt so ignore it. Sometime in the Autumn term the university lets the council know the names and address of all students. The council see that there is no one in the property liable for council tax and cancels the bill. The end.

What actually happened. Council tax bill arrived. Students ignored it. University told council that the students were at the address and that their masters course started in September. Council reduces the bill to only covering the Summer months before the official course start date. No one notifies the students that they weren't actually classified as students between the end of the degree and the start of the masters. Council starts enforcement proceedings. Council takes students to court. Students unaware. Bailiffs turn up. Mum gets phone call. :(

'Bailiffs turned up' - add 250 to the original bill for each visit :)

Still I am sure sorting it out from the middle of the Indian ocean will be a doddle.
    I think....
