t's hazing over quite fast here at the mo, so not sure I'll be able to see it. Oh well, that's always the case with interesting stuff in the sky - it's cloudy or rains so I don't get to see it!

same here cloudy and some showers off and on...odd weather really for the time of year...more settled in a week maybe....we have a good star gazers telescope setup here but not good enough to see through clouds....

Are you going to ebay the gout stool and make loads of dosh?

The chap who died here in sheringham left loads of stuff in our garage. His family looked it over and don't want it, so I started taking the good stuff to the charity's shop. Unfortunately, there is a very large crucifix, about 3 feet high and on a stand that he made him self. I really don't know what to do with that? It's really beautifully made.
There are specialist companies which buy church furnishings and sell them on. Fashion comes and goes; quite often stuff is used in films and a lot is shipped to Japan. Look at stuff and prices, for example at

Got back from Wembley earlier after a very successful afternoon! However, weather forecasters said it would be 20-21 degrees this afternoon. Boy were they wrong!

And what's your opinion on the parents that left their 7 year old in the bear-infested woods ... left him at the roadside.... 2 days now and he's still "missing".

Yamato, his older sister, mother and father came to a park near the forest on Saturday, but the parents became angry as the boy threw stones at cars and people, Japanese police and media reports said.

So the brat is throwing stones at passing cars and people, the parents solution is to walk away!!!!

If you can't tell from the application and CV that the child has been to private school then it wasn't a very good private school....

    What was it then?
Cooler and a bit breezy. Not so bad inside the stadium but nippy on the walks to station/queueing at station etc.
Forecast also definitely said no rain but there were some drops earlier. Pity I didn't pay for the forecast, could have got money back otherwise!

I think we discussed before that many German kids were supposedly advised to pretend they're vegetarian when visiting Britain so they wouldn't have to eat mad-cow-contaminated meat. Is this maybe the same thing?
