You've told us that you lie and cheat. It's not something I have just made up. Beware the wolf in sheep's clothing.

You aren't following what I'm saying. Nobody would imagine me to be a cheat or a liar because it's not my nature. I have never once lied to a friend or family member and that's why they wouldn't imagine me ever lying. I have in the past though, not through wanting to, but because I have felt I had to. It's as simple as that. I also thought everyone was the same... that was until I joined this forum and met you amazing people who have never done the same and being honest your entire life... Maybe it is just me then. Maybe I was wrong all of these years and maybe I should regret lying about experience to get my first job.

Sounds to me like you massage your conscience a lot to make up for So, you are a liar and a cheater but only on your own terms. You know even some criminals have standards. A lot of them won't touch women or children, some won't harm anybody but they'll steal from under your nose with pleasure. "Oh, but Officer it was a victim-less crime. No-one got hurt."
Doesn't make it right though does it?

Look I don't know what you get up to in your spare time but I think lying about experience to get a job is very different from stealing. Stealing is morally wrong on all levels. My house was burgled a few years ago and it tore me up inside. I couldn't imagine putting anybody through that. I doubt my previous employers would feel the same had they found out I lied about my experience to get the job though. Frankly I do not think they'd care at all because I worked hard for them and did a very good job for seven years.

Ideally you should only regret the boys you never kissed :kisses3:

I'm not getting your point at all. Are you saying that because you don't seem the type who would lie and cheat that it's ok you do lie and cheat?
  • Basically because I lied about my experience to get my first job everyone on here thinks that I'm a criminal! I'm saying that my friends and family would laugh their heads off if someone called me a criminal or a liar or cheater! If I told them I did lie to get my first job they'd say, "fair play" because they'd have done the same at some point in their life, of that I am pretty sure.

Everyone does it... well apart from the perfect people on this forum who would never do such a thing.

This isn't an ideal world though, is it?

But when you don't get your own way you go and on and on about it.
If you actually knew me I'd be the last person you'd imagine being a cheat or a liar.

You are probably more transparent than you realise. People wise to the world will soon have you sussed. As you are not unique. Just human.

I'm not saying you are a criminal. I'm comparing your rationale to that of the example I gave.
  • That's all I want to be, human. Thank you for your interesting input. I am sorry to have gone on and on but I like to answer people that judge me. I really enjoy it. If you think this is all over me being offered 15.8 per cent instead of 3.4 then you haven't been following the thread. I don't mind being held accountable for anything Because I believe what I say. I don't need to use a fake name. I am me. Nobody needs to suss me out really. I will tell them all they need to know. At the end of the day I possess one thing that most of you don't. I actually care. I mean I really care about society and people. I'm not ignorant to what happens in the world and what makes the world go round. I do have a chip on my shoulder and that's exactly why. I hope that helps you understand.

Please take your sweeping generalisations and assumptions elsewhere. I will not be told by some anonymous person on a forum that I do not care about society and the people around me when you've done nothing but make negative and arrogant assumptions about everyone else on this forum because we're not saying what you want to hear and done nothing to find out anything about any of us on an individual level
Good luck with the rest of your life but you've p****d me off this time and I won't have any more to do with you.
  • I did say most of you. That's not too general is it? From your passionate post I gather that you do care so good for you.
  • Ben,

i think you should call it a day mate. You have quite rightly identified that this forum probably isnt to your taste. Thats ok different strokes and all that.

But in an attempt to win the day and have the last word you have appeared increasingly beligerent and a tad aggresive. Honestly read back your posts, you sound like someone who is losing the plot because we refuse to see your point of view.

Crucially you do that thing that people who are being unreasonable often do which is accuse people of the very behaviour that they themselves are actually displaying, in this case by the bucketload.
Honestly mate turn it in, you are starting to look ridiculous. Life, nor this forum are worth it.:-)
