Hi all,

any ideas what a "retail option account" could be on an Equifax credit file?

    Can you take a screenshot?

What type of account does it relate to? Credit card? Bank account?

When I worked for GE Money, the most common accounts we did that showed as Retail Option were clothing retailer store cards or finance from such as B&Q or Comet. The "Option" part of the finance account related to the fact you could have a number of different purchases, all on different payment schemes under just the account.

Hope this is of some help.
