Oh Gemma! It is a wonderful site that I found from here. It gives you the geographical number for lots of firms that advertise only 0870 numbers. It saves people a lot of money.

Had a wee swatch at it there!
Wish I knew that before I spent hours on the phone to dell trying to get a cheap warranty!!!!!
Cheers!!! :beer:0 -
Monday morning - here's an update - was put through to warranty sales! Anyway I guess I was quite pushy and although I didn't get this resolved completely - the person I spoke to has promised to honour this price once the 'service tag' number shows on her system.
At first she said that because I bought from outlet I couldn't purchase but I said the Ts & cs do not say that.
So here's the deal , I am to ring back next week and she will honour the price! We'll see! :rolleyes:HLK

At least its a start!
Now you can use the 'well I presume you record all of your calls' and say 'listen back to the call and I can assure you I was promised the warranty at that price.'
Well done for battling this far!0 -
Managed success on a new Inspiron 6000 thro telephone sales, spoke to the Irish call centre and despite some inital reluctance the guy came back to me next day (Wednesday) with the warranty cost of £44:78 for 3yr NBD.
Also tried the Indian call centre tele sales who eventually tried to tell me that the prices were mistakes and in fact were product codes!, so why are they still posted on the Dell website?
Tip, ask for the Dubin Call Centre and always get the direct line number of the sales person you speak to.
