    £595 Leicester increasing to £625

As with every other city, price is mainly dependant on location and amount of bedrooms.

For £625, I would expect a 3 bed semi property in a reasonable area of Leics.
If it isn't, then you should have researched before signing a new contract.

When our old gas fire's ignition failed, the repair man told us it was not economical to mend and suggested using a lighter or even matches, so I bought one of the long-stemmed lighters, mentioned above (from Aldi), sometimes using matches and never considerd it dangerous.

The new fire actually has an instruction book which suggests using a lighter, if the ignition system fails,so it can't be dangerous.

Before auto ignition was invented, everyone had to light their gas oven with matches. It was a case of only just turning on the gas, lighting, then turning the supply up, so no gigantic flames.
