Three "Feel at Home" update

My OH has just returned from a business trip to the Torrevieja area of Spain and was using her contract SIM with Three.
The data rate in probably 9 out of 10 locations was virtually useless, only a trickle rendering even the most basic of web sites too tedious to bother with. Ordinary phone calls and SMS text messages were OK, but Skype, Whatsapp, web browsing, etc. were generally unusable.
To cap it all, she received a text message from Three saying she was reaching her "credit limit"... On checking the "My3" App when she was back in the UK, there were no extra changes, lots of minutes left, etc. Last year Three told me their "My3" App wouldn't show the correct data when roaming... What a farce.
Still it's better value than many of the other networks if you travel to one of their feel at home countries and there are often plenty of free WiFi places (certainly plenty in Spanish bars and shopping centres)...

My wife has just returned from a 10 day trip to New York where she had full 4G coverage and walked down the street Face Timing me from her iPhone. She also streamed Spotify and Youtube. It will be different everywhere you go.'Just because its on the internet don't believe it 100%'. Abraham Lincoln.
