iphone 5 - battery issues
I "tried" to swap the battery on my iphone 5 as it was on its last legs. I purchased a "genuine" iphone battery from ebay. However now ive changes it, the battery is worse and now the screen has not pushed back in correctly.
Can recommendations of whats best for me to do?

Take it to a local repair shop and get them to fix it.
Apple are out as they wont touch it now you've opened it and it has non apple products in it.Sigless0 -

corfu999, I did purchase within that time frame, but unfortunately, its not available for the battery replacement program. I checked this some months ago, when searching google I did find a number of forum posts discussing this.
Rev, ill give a local shop ago I think.0 -
As corf999 mentioned, check your iPhone if it's eligible.
Because mine was eligible as I had issues with battery life.
I took it to Apple store (Brighton) and they replaced the battery, though I had to wait 2 hours.
But I explored Brighton during that time.
I think they are going to end this in March so you need to hurry.0
