You know of the saying about closing the stable door after the horse has bolted ????

You could have beaten these scammers had you acted quickly.

All you can do now is ignore the silly debt collectors even though they might bombard you with cheapo bog paper.

If you get a letter before action it will come from UKPC but, if you get your act together and proper evidence, you could still win.

Thanks. But I cannot find the Newbies thread that has been mentioned, or its draft letters. Are there any links to them on the site?
..."post #3 of the NEWBIES thread shows you winning words; our long detailed appeals from registered keepers do work."

NB: So far the words I'm using are

"The car was not on site for longer than the maximum period stipulated in the fixed sign.
The Notice to Keeper received 16 March, does not comply with s8 of Schedule 4 of POFA 2012.
In addition the NTK was not received within the maximum period from the date of the alleged breach.
Kindly drop this correspondence. However, if I have to attend court I shall seek an award of costs for taking time off work to attend and also of the costs of my solicitor."

You can't go back one step from this thread and see one of the first few threads stuck (hence sticky) near the top of the forum, with the word NEWBIES in capital letters? Really?

No. I could not see a thread with the word NEWBIES in capital letters. And I went back a step as suggested. Where is it? Can you supply a link (url)?

Sorry but no ... my signature spells it out clearly where it is - it even gives the thread ID. No links - people need to learn how to navigate this forum to be able to get best help.

Seems like an opportunity to kick this permanently into the long grass has been completely wasted.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
