Single supplement for single room?

    I dont think they do. But they don't expect to be paying a single room supplement for a single room. Double room, single occupancy = supplement. Single room, single occupancy = no supplement.
    Well there is, isn't there. Try reading the rest of the thread and you might understand why.

    I book lots of hotel rooms and generally they're priced per room.
    Single rooms are usually slightly cheaper than doubles and triples a bit dearer. The problem lies with package deals when they price them per person.
    If the - in the OPs case - a double has been priced at £50/night (£25pp) and the single at £40, I'd expect to pay a supplement of £15/night for a single room with single occupancy or £25/night for staying in a double.
    Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.
