    So if one was to put it on a 3rd computer and they noticed what could they do?

    It just wouldn't authorise on the third machine. That's the point of the license.....So they wouldn't do anything...

    I just had to uninstall from my third pc since it won't activate. Now I need to get the wife to register for 2 more licenses, so guess what, I would go for a free av e.g. bitdefender / avast etc.... except ....
    It was free for 3 for me last year , but to be honest I prefer Norton(dons hard hat for incoming flak) and I got 10 seat license for that for £29.99 from amazon so I will use that for my countless virtual machines, get real girl there ain't no such thing as a "free lunch".

    This is the same situation for me the third computer is my wife's so now she will have to pay the £6.99 or as she is also a Barclays customer in her own right I will get her to register for online banking so she will get the free Antivirus in her own right.
