Why not get a third quote, it would guide you to seeing which is accurate. My guess would be a decimal error on the £14000 quote.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Well one has quoted £600, one £14 000. I'm reading through the paperwork now in case I've missed anything obvious here, or any misunderstanding, but that can't be right???? Either one has mistood my request, or there is a massive difference in price? Thought? Experience?
I could see how a misunderstanding could arise? Something lost in translation?
Did you sent photos .....0 -
ha ha everyone!
I have had a good read through, and I think I know what the difference is- one quote of for a temp scafold for the job in hand (which is what I want,) the other likes like a sort of permenant thing. I'm not sure why anyone would want that? Could be, as mentioned a misplaced decimal point or simply a rip-off / "its on the insurance" type thing. If my post doesn't appear to be serious, then it is not serious. So what? Kick back, relax enjoy life and have a little fun. Life is far far too short to be grumpy!!!!0 -
Please do upload a picture of your erection once it is up..."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

I recommend using Eastern European builders. Don't worry too much about the height of your erection. You shouldn't have too much trouble slipping a Pole up there.

So you want a job in hand for your erection problems?
May I kindly suggest that maybe if "the other [half] likes like a sort of permanent thing" then it explains why there are a few extra decimal points on the price0 -

She might help, but should be a lot cheaper than £600...“Learn from the mistakes of others. You can never live long enough to make them all yourself.”
