Is there a limit to how much security checks credit card companies can make you do?

is it only Halifax you have this issue with?
As soon as they get OTT on fraud checks I jump ship on spending with said bank.
This is why I love Nationwide. No Verified by Visa for me.0 -
I've had loads of transactions declined with Halifax before! I don't tend to use my credit cards that often for purchases, so when I do they like to decline the transactions! One was for £100 deposit for a holiday. They didn't even phone me until a couple days later to ask me whether it was a genuine transaction or not. I entered all the extra security questions correctly, so I don't see why they rejected my card at that point! I don't mind having to provide security details more than once if need be, but to decline a transaction after all the details were entered correctly is a bit silly.0
