First Direct -payment of bonus

I was planning on my £1000 going in when the switch happens... does that slow down the paying of the switching bonus? Vert frustrating as they are the ones making it all go so slowly... 7 days is going to be more like three weeks it seems...

It took 2 weeks for me to get the switching paperwork, by then the switch date had already passed and now my switch will happen on Tuesday.

They told me that the switching team are really busy due to the amount of applications they had recieved, when I called they were processing the switches requested the day before mine.

My switch was completed 28th January and I got my bonus today. It took a while to get the initial welcome pack - about 6 days but the switch was done 7 days from then so whole process from initial application took 2 weeks. V pleased with service so far

My £1000 was in the account by the switch date so don't know if that makes a difference as to when bonus paid
