Broadband data boost
If you choose a pay monthly plan below £46 per month, we'll boost your mobile data allowance up to 10GB per month. If you choose a plan worth £46 and above, we'll boost your data up to 20GB per month.

Confused - help please.

The phone is 8GB, I get that.
"1GB data" - that is what I can 'use' (ie my limit)

? But if they give me 10GB - then I AM getting 10x as much data/limit. Yes ? Why isn't it just advertised at 10GB. I was going to pay extra and get 2GB,, but if they 'give' me 10GB instead of 1GB, then there si no point - true ?

Pretty sure you only get the 10GB data boost if you have their home broadband as well, not just a mobile contract. You need to disregard the 8GB, this is the size of storage the phone has and has nothing to do with data usage.

Marketing; to make you feel you're getting something extra if you take the deal?

Or the extra data could be a short-term offer.

The 10GB is a broadband deal. Do you have broadband with EE? If not this doesn't apply.

Looking at EE's terms and conditions if you cancel your Home Broadband or upgrade/renew/change your price plan at the end of the Minimum Term.

So it's only boosted to 10GB for 24 months theoretically (at least that's my interpretation of it!)
