No decent deals on unlimited fibre? (not virgin)

Are there any decent deals on unlimited fibre BB, (not a virgin area).

I get loads of offers through the door but its always the cheaper limited or lower speed packages.

Currently paying PN £38 for phone and 73MB unlimited Fibre. Anything available or are the prices still high to pay to upgrade more exchanges?

Going to save £20 a month on my mobile bill so home BB next, whilst im in the mood to shop around.

Have you had a look on quidco? Normally around £100 cashback for BT. They've also just reduced Infinity 2 down to £25 PLUS a £50 prepaid mastercard if you take it out online.

That's £300 for the year, but you get £150. Making it £12.50 a month. Don't think you'll get better than that!

Only seen £40 cashback on 76MB unlimited plan.

£25 + £17.99 = more than i pay now even taking the £40 into account. Is the £50 on top of that? So saving £90?

That would save £30 over the year. Except the £7 delivery charge for the router. Saving just £2 a month?

Nice site that quidco, asking for my bank details on a non secure page and clickjacking???

Topcashback doing £105 for calls and broadband for new BT customers.

The £50 is additional so £155 cashback effectively. Almost £13 a month cheaper than the standard price of £42.99.

£8 a month, or £96 a year less than you pay now.
  • Give Origin Broadband a look. £18.49 pm for 76mb unlimited fibre. First 3 months free. Line rental £16.40 or one and two year line savers which can take in down to around £12.00. Unlimited uk calls is £5. Completely uk based which I find is the best benefit. Been with them 5 months, never had a drop out. Est line max line speed 69mb - I get 66mb 90% of time never really drops below 60mb. Been with TT, Sky and BT in last 10 years Origin are the best so far.
  • Poor, isn't it. My mother has fibre because the ADSL is so slow but its only 40gb monthly limit which is little more than a taster really.

I managed to use up almost all of decembers allowance and a good part of january's just watching catch-up TV over Xmas.

Go over the limit and its £1.50/GB or cough up almost twice the amount for Unlimited.

I'm still on 17mb ADSL, it may not be the fastest but its Unlimited and cheap. Well, cheap compared to fibre anyway (still too expensive in my view though)

My estimated line speed was 68mb but i actually get 73mb and the engineer said its actually faster than that but capped by the ISP.

I had a HD fail and updated a few computers the first month i got fibre and managed to download over 600GB. No emails saying its too much etc.

Have you phoned Plusnet to see what they can offer you if out of contract?

I'm on the same package as you (76/20 fibre) and they halved the cost of it to £10 a month if I extended my contract by 2 years. This was around a year ago so not sure if they'll do something similar now, but worth a try.
