samsung comparison help please

I am now so confused as to what is better...
the U600, the U700 or the G600.
I know the G600 has the better camera, but is not 3G, the U700 is 3G but has no radio......
Any pointers for me?

Personally I would go for the G600, had my first look at one yesterday and decided to get one when my contracts up next month.

You have to ask yourself what you're looking for in a phone.

Would you use the 3G facilities, do you need a radio? The U models play WM DRM files so it'll play songs bought from MSN Music, Woolworths, etc and supports more file types. The G600 will play DRM files supplied through your phone but of course has the better camera.

The list goes on. What will you use?

No you've lost me! I have no idea what DRM files are!
I would like the better camera, but as the U70 is the only 3G of them, it is better for web usage isnt it?

DRM files are songs you buy from tesco downloads/woolworths/msn music etc.

they are protected music files

Protected (DRM) songs you buy from the main UK music sites (not Itunes) don't normally play on phones or many of the cheaper MP3 players without having to remove the DRM first. The U series phones allow you to transfer the DRM songs straight to the phone.

I'm confused. Will the Samsung G600 play music from p2p sites, eg Limewire? Will it play music copied from CD? What if you don't have Windows Media Player 11? Can you not just drag and drop the mp3s into the relevant folder when the phone is attached to the pc?

yes providing they are in mp3 or wma format

Music from P2P sites is unprotected and illegally copied, but yes it will play, as stated above.

Yes it will play music from a CD. You don't need WMP. As long as you have the files as MP3. I don't think it supports WMA.

Yes, if the phone appears as a drive when it's plugged in.
