Thanks Ladyshopper. Hope the return to work has gone as smoothly as it can.

Its actually gone really well MKS, thank you. Did some "proper" work this week rather than just emails and stuff which I did the first week. Nice to get back into it. Had to send my statement to a colleague to check though, so out of the habit of writing them I just wanted her to check I hadn't made any glaring mistakes!

Not long back from my weekly swim, upped to 50 lengths so I'll be back up to a mile soon enough. Its definitely getting easier each week!

Am I the only person that hasn't been to Sainsburys? Literally can't be bothered. :o They have closed the road which is the most direct route there, been closed all weekend. Reason? To build a roundabout for a school which hasn't been approved yet at our police headquarters, which the PCC wants to sell to build his beloved school despite the fact we don't yet have anywhere to go to. Despite all of this, the school is supposedly opening in September and the PCC has paid £500k of the police budget towards it despite the fact we are having to save £20 million or something ridiculous like that over the next few years.

Anyway, I digress. Road closure has meant traffic chaos near me hence I can't be bothered to go to Sainsburys! Getting down to Asda to get my c&c yesterday was hard enough.
  • 2 pizza meal deals and 2 turkey mince + fillers gives an apg of just under £10.00 ,I may repeat it tomorrow.
I had to use a £12.00 one today as when I did the pet food glitch I couldn't be bothered to split the shop.
It needed a supervisor override but they were that busy she didn't even look at it , just pressed a few buttons and off I went.
I don't fancy the minced turkey so have decided it is good value dog meat :T:T:T

My complaint to Oh was that his clean underwear and socks were still littering the radiator in the downstairs bathroom.

He said some of it was not yet dry

After 3 days I said.? In which case why does my underwear dry overnight on the upstairs radiator overnight I asked and then gets put away first thing in the morning

OHs reply was that his underwear is thicker so takes longer to dry.

Does anyone ever despair of their OHs

Oh YESSSS! He drives me bonkers at times and can be a complete daft old B - but he's my daft old B and I love him to bits. He's having minor(hopefully) surgery tomorrow and I'm stressed out of my mind while he's happily watching the footie and stuffing mince pies without a care in the world.

like pretty much any cashback app, take a photo of receipt and upload (it's run by COS)

Thank you - I haven't tried anything like that on an app before, I've only done Quidco online up to now.

today is the last day for the TCB travel treats game - if you have missed any of the daily clues you can catch up with them - have a look back on the TCB FB page but there might be a MSE competitions thread on it somewhere or if you belong to PTS there is a thread on there.

most people seem to have won something mainly 10p, 25p or £1 b
