Thank you :) can't actually say I'm better though just had a shower and realised just how swollen my glands are. :o

But as you said each day gets better, how are you feeling today Seren? x

Much better thanks Tiny, it's drying up, I think. Hope you feel better soon. x

Went to S, my grand weekend total is 3 x 200 plus a 200 for yesterday's meat, plus 7p off litre fuel. But I am grateful, honest. :rotfl:

Weirdly, my shop which totalled exactly £10 to get the 7p fuel, came to £9.99 when they put through the 200 points for meat bought yesterday, so I had to buy a carrier bag to get it to £10 for swipe n win.

Honestly, Sainsbury, jumps and how high come to mind. :)

There's an old saying that goes 'Never tell anyone that you can sew' which I blithely ignored and twice in my life it has bitten me - once when DD was in Brownies and Brown Owl mentioned they needed new curtains for the hall (6 pairs plus kitchen) and DD told everyone that her mummy was good at making curtains  and I had to wriggle out of that one... The second time was when an elderly friend asked if I could sew and I said yes without thinking and the next thing was I was given some heavy-duty cord trousers to put new zips in :eek: and it was impossible to get out of doing those.

That's DH'problem - because he's good at most things he gets asked to help out with all sorts and he's not good at saying "no". Makes him very popular tho':)

:(:(:( Yes every 3 weeks & then they 'miss' emptying some.

You can ask for an extra free bin but as yet no one has received one - so rubbish over flows, gets torn apart. This area is turning into a filthy town.
Fly tipping has started & also fires.

People are drowning in rubbish & then they say it may change to 4 weeks :eek::eek:

FB site set up purely for Rants about Rubbish

    :(
Ours was one of the first areas to do every 3 week rubish, at first it was a pain but now its fine we have a. Wheelie bin and not allowed any extra rubish, just what fits in with the lid down. But recycling is weekly and everyone puts a lot out, we don't have a problem with fly tipping or fires I think people have just changed their ways. Xx

We have fortnightly wheelie bin collections and weekly recycling bin collections. They give us black boxes, green boxes and brown food waste bins.

And as they collect the recycling the leave the pavements/roads strewn with rubbish because they can't be bothered or won't bend down to pick up what THEY have dropped

Thanks to everyone re the nectar points. I split my diesel into 3 and also bought myself & dd boots in sale reduced from £30 to £9 plus £1 item and £10 from £35, then did a top that does not fit, some bits for work and a couple of £10 general shops. Ended up with 2 x 2000, 4 x 500 and the 3 x 200. Also wombled a 200 points and £2.79 brand match. Only problem is I have not added any to my card yet. Can they be done all at once?
