I do get there.
the postponed wedding isn't a bad thing. It gives you time in the winter to find the most super duper summer wedding outfit at a fantastic price. It sounds to me like the Apple hasn't fallen far from the tree there. She's being sensible, so 1 out of 3 ain't bad.....as meatloaf would say
You know the lads will always be wanderers and what better a way to live your life? They're travelling all over the world doing amazing things and although you miss them it must make you smile that you managed to create these amazing creatures. And what would you worry about if they didn't?
I feel like my life is just on the fringes of embarking on what you go through. I'm losing control. DS1 is on an orchestra tour in Europe and not always contactable (this is new to me) Lots of sighing and puffing. DD is totally concentrated on saving for her first wild holiday away this summer  that will be a whole other stress. Houseguest is in love and I talk about condoms with him way too often
and DS2 is my thermostatic control, where things never change. He's the the totally predictable thing that keeps my life balanced at the moment
Nice catch up. Much love to you :heart2:
Condoms don't embarrass him too much just make sure he knows where to find some, maybe bathroom cabinet. As for dd and her wild holiday do they still do that programme where parents snoop on their kids first adult holidays?
If not we could always go snoop ourselves.
you have to trust. I was lucky in that I went on my dd's first couple of wild holidays so I know exactly what goes on. At the end of first week I made her and her friends go out sober for one night to people watch. Certainly changed their behaviour for the second week:eek:
Just make sure they have decent accommodation as the security is always better. Never leave her holiday buddy to go off alone or let buddy go off alone.
NEVER put any valuables down on beach in dark and alway leave an envelope with money in behind reception so can get cab home if overspend of have money stolen.
Plenty of ways to stay safe and still have a wild time.
To be honest they will most likely drink too much, have breakfast on way to bed in morning and arise around 3pm
I am doing benidorm with DS2 in April and he is upset sticky Vicki has retired he says it was an experience and he wanted to take me for a laugh.:eek:
forgot to eat today, think it is a bit late now. Hoping pots work tomorrow as be a nice thing to have stash of.

Sometimes, no-one listens to me either - it happens when I am right:D. They think they know best, but they do not. However, they just do it their own way - to the inevitable failure that it was always going to be (and would not have been had they listened to me:doh:). And then - usually years after the event of them doing it their own inefficient and useless way for years - I just get the "told you so" opportunity again. So I certainly experience not being listened to from time to time - or they do listen but then just do it their own way anyway. I think it's happened at points throughout my life - but even as a younger adult people would either not listen or just do what they (wrongly!) thought to be best again and, as an older (but hopefully not old:eek:) adult, they sometimes (or maybe even often?) still don't listen to me - so it's certainly not confined to being something people do exclusively to, or with, people that are old or ill. I also notice when people miss the point I was making completely. It's also, sometimes, obvious to me when people have misunderstood but - in their misunderstanding - they then go ahead anyway (they weren't listening to me!) - and, as usual, I just then watch them pursuing their own misunderstanding and the entirely predictable failure that that will lead to. If only they had listened to me, in order to avoid both the failure and their own wasted time.
I'm not always right, but I usually recognise when I am wrong - and then change myself so that I am then right! Such as the White Chocolate Pots of Joy on which the world has now, thankfully, been set to rights:rotfl:. I suspect Zippy just wanted to prove me wrong (which is fine, I don't mind being shown to be wrong) - my previous belief was wrong, but it is just that - previous - it is no longer my belief and I now have a different, new belief which is now correct (or I believe it to be anyway!) so, like a bird of prey snapping its jaws but, on this occasion, I got away and the jaws snapped shut behind me:D!0 -

England too
, Regular NA against all supermarkets even though clearly available online - still £4 RTC instore, £16 A, £8 S and W.
Anon
And add Finish Regular 56 to the list of items the price collectors haven't had for M when they are clearly available in "M" (namely some M that I've seen).:( I was hesitating including that on my post as I was thinking it was Scotland only, but I see it's everywhere that has an M comp.:(0 -

Good morning 2 degrees today so the car isn't frozen up yay. So I'm still nice and warm in bed.
I would just like to thank everyone again for the kind donations and Bubbs for the huge parcel she sent me with items for the raffle you are all so generous.:A
Hey anyone local is more than welcome we could have a MSE table:T
I don't think I have noticed anyone else from round here apart from FC and Squigs but who knows I know Tweets isn't far but in the other direction and I'm sure you will be working, shame it's not half term.
It's two weeks today and I'm looking forward to it if not a tad nervous but the raffle prizes are pretty impressive local businesses have been very generous. I have only contacted people who I know and I think I will keep it that way to give them some publicity.
Just thought of another couple who I think may be quite close that's Emerald and Mhoc0 -
Morning all. Have a lovely day x“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0

Di I'm so pleased things are going well for your raffle, that's great news. Bubbs certainly is an :A.
Snap, your news about your dad coming home yesterday was lovely.
I overdid things yesterday, work then went out for lunch with a friend. Was shattered and went straight to bed when I got in, although couldn't quite drop off for a nap. Tiredness and memory still very much a problem. Good news is that I tried sleeping without a catheter taped in and being attached to a bag last Saturday, and have been bag free ever since. A real big step forward. :T0
