I usually get 1 carrot, 1 parsnip, 1 red onion, 1 white onion 1 banana , then if you do a few shops you have enough veg for a meal or making soup etc
Failing that i get cheaper tin stuff and put in foodbank

thats a good idea. i wouldnt need to buy a bag of carrots a bag of onions a bag of garlic etc. il try that on my next shops thank you.

theres no foodbank trolley anymore in my store. they have moved/hidden it
    March Grocery challenge. £18.37/£300

Afternoon curl girl we are all ok thanks.

Mum finished her treatment and is ok.

She got an appointment to go for a check up in April.

Good news about your mum, mine also had similar problems about 5 years ago and luckily it was caught in time and she has been ok since.
curl girl with a space - even though there is no space in my cupboard!!!

I usually take mine direct to the food bank, save it up and take all in one go, but no use if you dont drive:cool:
