Thanks Zippy - do you mind explaining how I do that ? Where do I start from ?

I'm more concerned about the date/time changes really - I had this happen years ago with a tower computer and, after having a battery changed several times it turned out to be a faulty motherboard. I haven't a clue how these all in one jobs are made up but I'm concerned it may be a similar problem. I got it from QVC so returning it is relatively easy but disappointing.
