:hello:
Shop from today, vs M - I'm not too happy they bought this one given the 10 inch pizzas at £1 in M. However, the shop was already well more than 10% cheaper:(.
1x ASDA Chosen by You Pepperoni Feast Thin & Crispy Pizza 10in (293G) £2.60 £2.60
I have yet to check the pizza information that I have got - I think I've put it off as a 'special project' to go through later tonight or tomorrow - and needing to see if any have what should be comparable versions at A. From a quick look though, it seems I have Thin & Crispy everything except Pepperoni:(. There is a Pepperoni at 350g but that's outside the weight and it's also Deep Pan rather than Thin & Crispy. Looks like they may have bought just about the only one that M don't have (as far as the fresh £1 ones are concerned) unless this one they've bought is a frozen one? I don't know what's £2.60 at M as I won't be looking at that price:eek: - obviously something the price collectors have found comparable.0 -
Busy day. Been to DD's to help - builders in again on a different project - new flooring being laid this time.
Offloaded huge amounts of DGC's unwanted toys to local charity shop; then called in at FoodBank with items on their wishlist; then had half an hour at various charity shops in town which proved fruitful for both of us; then cleaned house top to bottom and restored it back to its normal tidy state. New flooring looks lovely.
Recovering at home now with cup of tea - going to help always seems to involve 8 hours of frantic activity... and yes, DD does know how lucky she is!
Hope everyone has had a good day.“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -

I'm going to be on tenterhooks this evening. DD1 has just set off on her first long car journey to Brighton (about 1 1/2 hours) via M25.
Her and her boyfriend are celebrating their 2nd anniversary of when they first met. They're only 18 - so young but so grown up too.0 -
All the cling film, foil, food bags, bin liners, etc that were rtc in A are half price again
They are still showing "Reduced" (and with lower prices than I would expect to be half price) on the labelling of my A - maybe a GC opp. if they are going through at half price (which I assume to be a worse price)?
But, maybe, whilst they are half price in A (namely the A you saw), they are also RTC in A (namely another A, including mine today).
I wasn't even aware they ever were on RTC in A because, of course, they aren't on msm (which I use to help identify best value items). They are no longer online when they go to RTC, so the website doesn't tell you of these even better items and I spend all my time in M so I'm unaware of A's RTC prices:doh:.
Thanks for this - it reminded me that we always need some bin liners so I went to have a look. They were swing bin types though and we don't need those ones so I didn't bother checking what actual price they go through at:wall:. Sometimes though I don't need to do this every time and we don't need them anyway:). So I ended up getting some 50 litre ones, that we did need, at full price:eek:. I thought they were meant to be £1? Were they that previously (or now) on msm or were they the 30L ones? It turned out however that only the 30L said £1 on my SEL and they are just not big enough - the 50L said £2.25 and, whilst I hoped they were £1, they weren't.
I was hoping to get two packs of them plus a banana, or a flump, to spend a £2.07 APG. However, they are now back at £2.25 so that became the entire shop:(. So I've half of what I was going to get. My second shop to use up a £1 APG then switched to my back-up plan of a packet of Belvita instead of more bin liners (I was going to just get a Belvitas pack if the store didn't have enough packs of bin liners). However, I've done it again:D. Some of the Belvitas were still marked as £2 on the shelf, down from £2.50, and some at £1 down from £2. I tried one of the "£2" ones, as I preferred that flavour, and it was £1 at the till:rotfl:. Probably as expected really.
Every shop I do seems to have at least one item that goes through at a different price to the SEL, whether it is really higher or lower. I get items that go through at higher prices than what the SEL says and then get refunded to the offer price that really is no longer on (where it was a good enough offer). Or :(I get tempted:rotfl: by items I see with full price SELs in M (which are OOS in another M with the offer price showing there) and they go through at the offer price as expected.0 -

Oh alright then:cool:. I have just wombled some receipts, which unfortunately are no use, that were from various dates in the past and it seems like they all have APG used on them. Someone else at my store is using the APG therefore:cool:. They're not using it like me though:rotfl: - one of the receipts has a previous APG of £3.11 knocked off of a nearly £90 shop:eek::rotfl::rotfl:. So, just about a 3.3% deduction:((:rotfl:) or return from a shop (all their other receipts are of similar spend) - nowhere near the 50% or more that I aim for!0

Avs M - almost no use (potential 2 or 3p back from the eggs because they aren't 10 cheaper:p). They always like to get Mullers at £2:(. Wrong Houmous:p - should have got the 300g version that I hope compares against M at 50p. So, another overpayment there - they paid 50p for two-thirds of what they would have got had they bought the 300g Houmous from M. Probably thought the 50p in A was a good offer:rotfl:. It's not - the Houmous is too small! M's 300g Houmous is called "Classic Houmous" so I'm not completely sure if it would compare. I would hope it did - I think it may be me taking notice of the additional word "Classic" too much and therefore that one word turning the whole thing into a completely different product for me because it's not exactly the same is it? Let's hope the APG doesn't share my pedantry on this. Even though I have put it onto my list but after having this thought about it.
I'm not totally sure about M not having Sweet Pancakes, I'll need to check. I wonder about the Reduced Fat Spread too.
