Well there's a miracle.........COS have just processed my Optiwell receipt that I'd totally forgotten about. I found it languishing in the bottom of my handbag in a crumpled state this morning.

As I was in a rush and had only one pair of hands - and it was a long one, I decided to dampen the worktop and stretch it out to stay flat.

However it got too wet so I held it over the hot plate to dry off and half of it immediately turned black:rotfl:

Getting to work on time paled into insignificance against losing £1.81 on COS:rotfl:

Anyway it's gone through.....but don't try it at home folks:rotfl:

    I am very impressed :)

Needless to say I am struggling with my activia yog receipts on Shopotize again this week - numerous re snaps and not even the option to go to review
Last weekend all receipts went through very swiftly and smoothly - I should have realised that but was just a glitch and normal difficult service has resumed this weekend.

Well thanks all who replied I found it in the end and it's going down from £50.40 per month to £35.25 per month the only difference being no phone calls free well they weren t free as it was £4 I discovered . It's for 10 months for some reason but he said I could phone up then and negotiate then .10 months is £150 less so I'm happy :)

Excellent result - I am impressed that you found sky chat. I tried from 8.30 Tuesday morning with no joy so it was only after a nagging offensive on sky help on twitter that I got through the next day

Even the basic sky talk package is now £8  - this is fine if you ring mobile numbers or all abroad - I don't do either.

Yes ours is 10 months which is odd so I've got April on the calender to start negotiations again.

I've been looking round at sheets to fit the new mattress that will be arriving the week after next (can't wait for a decent night's sleep!)

Anyway, went to a large next in a last ditch attempt to get some that I could actually feel before I bought them and were a good price. Quite funny, the mattresses they sell are deeper than the one we have bought, but their deep sheets are 28cm, they wouldn't even get down the whole of the side, let alone tuck under the mattress :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I pointed this out to a SA there and she said she has been trying to convince them to sell extra deep ones for a couple of years and asked me to email them and ladle it on a bit, which I have done, and I informed them that I was very disappointed to have to go elsewhere.

As an aside, I do not normally buy from Next (unless there are vouchers around :) and I have just ordered some from Ebay :D
    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: well done

I love the word trousseau and it was always 'frock' in our house. I wondered if it was more of a northern terminology for dress but then start thinking about men wearing 'frock coats'

My duster coat was green, my mother loved me in green due to my then dark brown hair and brown eyes. Easter was always a new frock, actualy come to think, at Easter we had complete new outfits, head to toe. Me with white ankle socks and black patent leather shoes.

So under my new frock if it was still cold would be a vest and ....
A liberty bodice, with rubber buttons  :rotfl::rotfl:

I'm old enough to have dressed like that too,
But on the subject of 'trousseau' there was always 'putting it away for your bottom drawer'!!
